  The Moon orbits the Earth as the Earth is bigger than the Moon, it’s gravity pulls it in.
  
  However, if we consider the Earth and Moon as one system, they both orbit the Sun together (as it’s even bigger meaning more mass and more pull).
  
  But really we only consider the Moon to orbit around the Earth.
